Driven by the mission to improve lives through innovations in health technologies, Rodan's expertise is in creating business strategies for products and services through market intimacy and focus. To that goal, he delivers GTM success for clients and the startups that he advises. 

His dominant focus is ins taking ambiguous business ideas, honing the core customer value, devising market intimacy, defining the business case, and driving market readiness. He is a Boston transplant who came here to study at MIT, with degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and a Master of Science degree in management of technology. 

He is the co-organizer for MIT’s Life Sciences interest group, a member of MassBio Technology Council, and an active member of HIMSS. Rodan is open to helping clients tackle their next challenges in defining innovations across the life sciences value chain; where analytics and insights drive topline revenue opportunity. And, more importantly, improve patient outcomes.

At Aetion, defined GTM strategies for commercial pharma, biotech and medical device clients. At Cognizant Health Services, he founded the digital health center of excellence to enable client solutions for the virtual delivery of patient services. These include decentralized clinical trials (DCT), telehealth, and remote patient engagement solutions. Through his efforts, Cognizant launched two major partnerships with Microsoft and Philips in delivering virtual care. He also provided extensive thought visionary leadership 1, 2, 3, 4 for novel market solutions. Earlier, at Cognizant Accelerator, developed, delivered, and trained on key frameworks for sustainable innovations; strategy, governance, planning, and partnerships. His pioneering efforts led to the company’s product strategy discipline. These included ROI and set of financial analysis, deep competitive intelligence research, and business model creation. Rodan designed and delivered training and related materials for new ventures. Including roadmaps, business plans, and financial models for digital products – culminating in build, partner, or buy decisions. In this capacity, he also led the venture’s definition of solutions using lean methodologies, design thinking, journey mapping, storyboarding, and epics. In this tenure, Rodan directed partner endorsements (Microsoft, Philips, Medable, AWS among others) and managed ongoing client relationships with major pharma and biotech clients.
